The KRU-1 is a true diversity receiver.
The ''True-Diversity'' receiver has two antennas installed separately at different locations and are coupled with two identical tuners for receiving signals from one transmitter. The demodulated signals from two tuners are individually connected to a special comparator and switching circuit to keep the system automatically selecting the stronger audio signal output. Such theory will eliminate signal dropouts or unstable signal reception in receiving. It has two channel antennas on receiver. In other words, the True-Diversity receiver has more range and greater sensitivity.
